Viewing a card declined transaction

How do I go about seeing which items a customer tried to order when their transaction was declined ?

i.e. I can see the transaction attempt in the error log
"Error: Your payment was declined for the following reason: This transaction has been declined. Please contact your card issuing bank for more information (Response Reason Code: 2) "

but how do I call up their actual order contents ?

I must be missing the obvious here
